Why is this plant so small and bushy?

Hey everyone im new to growing, long time smoker.
This plant is probably 6 weeks old. It was outside for the first 4 weeks and has been under a 125w 6500k cfl with no air flow at all in a white coated cupboard since i moved it.
i have been using sea sol(sea weed extract), cheap granule fertiliser, dynamic lifter pellets and soil from back yard.

I spray the foliage with the same water mixture and it seems to like it.
i keep the light close as possible. Any ideas how to make it taller? Can i start lst nowk?
appreciate any tips and ideas.

Some times short is good, especially if it has very tight nodes. You may need some more lighting to help it grow.

Ok thanks for the reply i dont think there is space for 2 x 125's unless i alter the reflectors. And yes dude its so tight in there. its really really bushy.. lots of lateral limbs and 5 leavers growing on main stem...which is also pretty thick considering no air flow? umm i also pinched some stems the other day.

Move the light a bit farther away if you want the plant to stretch a bit. u can LST it now if u want, it will be hard to do tho as it is so small. try tucking the big fan leaves to expose the branches hidden under them. try to bend the top over if u can, a little each day.

thanks guys ive tucked the leaves and i have move the light a few inches away.
i am watering pretty frequently but have eased off a bit to see how it feeds on the existing moisture and nutrients in the soil for a few days.

check on the soil pH man. you said you just used soil from the backyard.. it may have some pH issues that's why your plant is growing small.but you know what, the plant looks healthy. what strain is this? it's growing short-it could be the genetics.. you can do LST to expose more of its lower portion

As to your original question, my guess would be a pure indica strain. Put a good movie on dude and go pee before you smoke it, that will likely glue you to your couch :D

it does look healthy. let it dry good between watering. Hit it up with some PH Perfect from Advanced Nutrients. I am using it on some plants with good dirt, one with cheap dirt, and one with garden dirt. all watered and fed with PH Perfect and all doing great. Ive never checked the PH either.
