Why is my seedling growing so slow ?

i noticed my seedling break the soil a few days back, and it has barely even changed at all, its still green, and the shell is off.. but has barely even opened. what could be causing this?

Im no pro but mayb ur soil is too thick lighter soil usaly is better for seedlings just a thought good luck
