Why is my plant preflowering at 3 1/2 weeks?!

Alrite so here is the story someone has to make sense of for me.....6 days ago I transported my plant and place it in a growbox I made with reflectix (insolator) paneling, I gave the plant water the next day (possible over nute) and went snowboarding....it ended up being 90+ degrees when I got home so I fixed the heat and went to bed. The next day the bottom leaves started turning yellow and falling off (other leaves were green and fine), the next day I want to give the plant 24/0 for a few days so I can do 1 more week of veg before I flower (I wanted it to grow fast so I could take some clones), two days later (today) I went to go water my baby and OH SHIT A WHITE PISTIL is comming from the head of the plant....and at the bottom growth there are two more pistils about the emerge...what the fuck! I was going to post pictures but its so small and my camera isnt that good.....what do you guys presume happened. My guess my baby went into shock and started to flower but im no expert...please help i need an explaination and maybe advice.
 
Hey bro, sorry i cant help, just thought it may make u feel better that ur not the only one with this problem

i just cut clones off of my nyc diesels, put em in my dome, kept em moist, and for some strange reason, before i even saw any rooting development, they started growing pistols

ive got no idea what happened, theyre under 24/7 untill i put em in the veg room, where theyre at 18/6

hope someone helps u out, ill stay in touch
 
My guess is a nitrogen deficent plant...because, It will cause plants to age pre-maturely, also the lower leaves will yellow (across the whole leaf) and almost turn white-ish. Pich up some fish emulsion. I've heard grass clippings in the soil help prevent this, but I haven't tested, good luck!

Shitty....were they preflowering when you took the clones/ or about to?

Were do I get fish emulsion?
 
Most plants I grow show sex at around the same time and I have grown a hell of a lot weed. It's not budding, it's just showing you that you indeed have a female. Pre-flowering and auto-flowering are 2 different things. Auto flowering is when the plant starts actually budding when it's still in veg
If the plant is yellowing from the bottom up then you need to give them some veg nutes.
I have never heard of the plant actually showing sex because it's lacking N, if that was the case then a lot of growers would be doing this so they knew what the plant was going to be. But, who knows...

Ding ding ding! We have a winner!

Many plants (strain often unrelated) will show sex at 3-4 weeks of age from seed. This is not an indication of flowering, merely the plant telling you that it is sexually mature, and READY to be flowered. Continuing 24/0 light will keep the plant in veg. The plant will only grow a few pre-flowers, which again is simply an indication of sexual maturity, and nothing to be alarmed over. If anything, its cause for celebration... you got a female!

I can't remember the last time I saw plants that were vegged for 3-4 weeks that DIDN'T show preflowers. They are nothing to worry about and completely normal. The yellowing lower leaves are a sign of N defeciency though and some nutes would help with that.

Thats so funny about the nutrient deficiency because I gave my plant nutes and is in miracle grow that has nitrogen release

Do you have any pics?

If the yellow was just isolated to say 1 leaf early on in life it may be okay. I don't like MG soil so I'm gonna step away from this one. I grow in hydro and when I did grow in soil it wasn't MG. I stayed away from that like the plague.

Your probably right,
It just seems in soil, all the bigger plants usually yellow the bottom leaves first, and they show pistils before the others....:bigjoint: probably no connection tho:bigjoint:

Well Shes lookin good, bottom leaves fell off and I cut the other two dying "early leaves" off just now take a look...(Wish I had a better cam to show you her white hairs :lol:)

Thought i'd give you guys an update on my plant that was preflowering at 3 1/2 weeks.....she's no hermy shes a full blown woman (6th day into flowering) check her out! (She looks droopy in the first picture because she was hot and needed water, she looks fine now!)

lol my plant is about 4 inches high and has about 10 small leves but i can see small pissles at the start of each branch should I BE WORRIED ?????????

How old is it? Light cycle? Tempurature? CFL or HPS? I need a little info on the grow

It's 20 days old CFL light cycles whenever i wake up usualy 7.30am till i go to bed about 11pm lol. It's an indica Arora somthing or other temp about 20 centigrade . What else do you need to know m8?

Here is mine at 20 days old below to compare if you want....mine was super short, when I switched to flowering then she stretchout out! You should be giving the plant atleast 18 hours though 730-11 is only like 16 or so. You can also bump her light cycle up to 24 hours for a week or so if you want to flower soon. I dont think those are pistils coming at every branch, those are probably nodes...every plant has them but if they are white hairs (pistils) then you could maybe have some problems. Got any pics?
