far cheaper to buy a new printer than to replace the inks, price of laser jet printer $120, price of inks $210, i'm fed up of going through printers and chucking them out.

LOL we do the exact same thing when we need new ink we just get a new printer.

They come with enough ink to last a while, and the printer costs less, I just don't understand why it costs more for just the ink.

I don't know but I kind of like getting a new printer every 6 months.
you can give you old one to the salvation army or put it on craigs list or ebay

My usualy choice would be to go for a hp bubblejet of some description because they are dirt cheap and I know they only have to last as long as the ink, but i'd like a better printer with better quality this time around and I can't find a decent printer where its possible to get cheap ink in comparsion to the printer.

I heard that didn't work out so good so it hasn't sprung to mind as yet. Cartridge world are the people that do it here.

Check out ebay for some non name brand oem replacements, I know for invoices it was a waste of profit straight to ink. hate it
Just type your printer ink cartridge on ebay, and get the bootleg ink from china, its so darn cheap i keep extras around and it works!
