Why grow from Seed?

i live in a state that allows cannabis so is there any advantage to growing from seed?

no only that you know your plant and you know how to do it,
its for the more experienced ppl say. but i like growing from seed.
it becomes sentimental.

It is advantageous to use clones. Fast, effective and about as expensive.

I don't live in a marijuana medical or friendly state so I don't have access to clones. I can get seeds though. Once I have a seed, then I have a mother to take clones from for my future grows.

I ordered 20 seeds 6 months ago. I still have 18 left plus 2 plants harvested, 2 in flower, 3 in veg and 4 cloning roots.

Not too shabby for 2 seeds so far. I order feminized seeds so that I don't waste time with males.

If I could get clones in my area, I definitely would.

seeds are still fine. they arent gunna grow 'faster" than the seeds.

the only advantage i can see in going seeds is the wide variety of strains i can acquire. other then that i see no advantage.
for the Thai i want i may be forced to go seed.
