Why Freeze your seeds?

Seed life can be maximized by Freezing - which will increase shelf life 4-5 times or
Refrigerating - which will at least double it. In all cases it is essential that you
avoid condensation - which could shorten a seed's life.

Dont do it..... It would Produce a really low chance of the seed ever germing.

They do freeze seeds for preservation but they are instant crogenically frozen.

Cool and Dry is the way to go..

i have only ~90 seeds. if i got more than 200, i would freeze them, but i dont see any reason why i have to freeze them now.

anyway, some say freezing is bad idea, but some say it immitates winter and helps them germ.

i really dunno. if you got many seeds, you could make a test, but im short.

no freezing them is no good i froze around 300 of mine and i was lucky to get 1 to germinate.
the same seed just stored in a dry area had close to 100 % germ rate,,so no i would not do it unless you have plenty of seed to waste....

wow bro.. 300 seeds, that must hurt.. maybe you froze them wrong? hmm, i read somewhere if you freezing your seeds you have to make bag vacuum sealed and they have to be compleatly dry..

I've germinated seeds from A-dam that must be 3-4 years old, but I've only kept them in the cupboard.

As far as for a part of the germination cycle, it may work for some, but I thinkit's unecessary.

:peace:

nah only shit bagseed, they were dry and vac packed ,but i think any freezing needs to be done fast not just in a deep freeze.or maybe i just left them in the freezer too long[7 months]:joint:
