Why Does My Pot Crackle and Pop?

so i got some homegrown thats not as good as it should be and it crackles and pops when i smoke it. why?

i've always taken the crackles and pops to mean it wasn't flushed properly before harvesting.

Never flushed my plants ever, never crackled/popped.

Probably didn't let it dry out/cure enough. Could be little tiny immature seeds or something (also why it may be less potent).

Probably the curing process in my final guess though.

i've never had crackle and pop from anything but seeded bud. Sprayed and what not has only ever been slower and harder to burn, never crackly though. I also don't flush and don't experience it.

It is from the unfermented sugars within the bud. Means it isnt properly dried and cured.

it's wet, weed can absorb moisture from the air and when your smoking it that's the sound you hear.. Does it taste kinda harsh too?

I willl also say i've smoked my buds at every stage of drying, never experienced snap and crackle because it's wet, i encounter not lighting instaed

my guess would be improper flush, i've had an experience with this.
