Put my rear surround speakers up this evening. Why the fuck did it take me over 6 months to do it? Yeah it was a pain in the ass drilling holes, running wire through the basement, drilling more holes. But I fucking love good audio and I picked up these Cerwin Vegas MONTHS ago, no reason to have put it off this long. O well at least I can enjoy them now.
 
Love CV, use to run there strokers in car audio back in late 90s early 2k. I still want a cv home setup. Now you can keep “hearing” things and muting the tv with the new surround hooked up lol. I have a mixed system but my fav component is the klipsch 18” powered sub, fucking thing warps walls, maybe it’s my face, either way, bends time lmao. 10” next to a cv 18”

My front left and right are ok. Old ass "Sharp" brand but they are 15s that i added crossovers and tweeters so technically each one is a "5 way speaker". Ive got a bunch of 10'' subs in the basement and some 6.5''. I want to build my own front left and rights. One 10'' and one 6.5'' but also have an amplifier that drives either 1 or 2 more 10'' speakers in each of the front left and rights. And upgrade my center channel. But im still sitting better than 99% of other people right now.
 
Set of 15s sound good to me haha, the old stuff is still great shit. My towers are 4x4” driver some entry level stuff, precision or something, a Boxing Day sale some years ago, denon receiver. I had some old car audio laying around so I built a box into the roof with my old Cerwin Vega component 6.5” and that 10” kicker pictured above, grabbed a 4ch soundstream off eBay, 2 dry cell batteries to power, threw it up in my chill and smoke room right off my grow room :cool: I really wanted to put the 18” in and use a framed wall as a box, then I remembered I wasn’t 18 again and I didn’t have 3k watts to feed it either hahaha. That bitch is 25 years old damn near.. I see they released it again as a “classic” stroker.
