why arent they comming up?

i planted 6 seedlings, and only one of them has came up, they were all germinted and they all sprouted. but only one of them came up in the pot and the other 5 are just chillin and not doing anything. im using a 1000 watt mh at the moment. and suggestions? its been like 4 days.

if they havent sprouted then dont put any light on it....place them in a warm dark place and they should pop out...... is the soil moist?

yea man . your wasting your electricity. use the grow faq before anything you dont know already. put em in a cupboard thats never opened and sees no light. with a heat blanket under em . they fight for the light and come out strong, you dont want to give em the light at the end of the tunnel ya know. use a mister and spray the soil as deep as you think you planted them . check on em in 5 days after putting in a cupboard.

oh and did you germinate the seeds in a wet paper towel in a dark place? that would quicken the process, remember root goes down into the soil .

i germinated them in a peper towel and left them in a cool dark place.



so your saying the seeds that are in the pot right now, i shouldnt give them any sort of light just leave them in the dark for a few days?


then when should i start using the light?

exactly what im sayin. you should start hittin em with light at about an inch when they have the cotyledons out fully and you start to see signs of bud leaves

right....as soon as it sprout above dirt. put under light...

so... i guess i should leave that ONE plant that came up under the light and put the others in a darker cool place? or should i just do it with the one plant too?
