Why are my plants not burning ......

I recently switched from GH Flora series to Jack's 321 after watching a GreenGeene's Garden video. If I ran GH over 1.8 EC on a 3ft plant in flower, it would start to show a little burning. With Jack's I'm starting at 2.2 EC from rooted clone and have no burn. Why is that?

Something must be on a better ratio for availability of food to be uptaken.

Possibly because higher P with the GH mix. Thats my best guess.

Every plant takes nutrient s differently I had some burn at 500ppm and other not burn at 2100. Just depends.

I've been running the same clones for both brands. I can also say they look much happier with Jack's.

Then for sure better ratio. Nutrient uptake of one nutrient relies on all the others and micro nutrients. So one is made better for bud.

Anybody ever notice how much your ppm's rise with epsom salts? I would assume Jacks has a different ratio of of certain ingredients and something may not be overly toxic to plants but has a higher EC.

This may explain why some people can run such High EC that would kill my plants using GH or Dynagrow.

Yep, strain dependent. Some love lots of nutes, other strains can't seem to tolerate much.

2.2ec seems nuts to me.. i run 1.6 normally without issue (on most strains)
