Why are my pistils taking forever to grow ?

I'm midway through week 7 and I have tiny little white pistils on only a few bud sites .... 3 days past and we're talking mm differences ...

Very very slow

Led 100 watt 12" above canopy
Cfl 180 8" above canopy

Foliage was quick to grow literally overnight

Preflower is unbelievably slow ... Too slow

Had some issues now resolved . And continuing to grow but those pistils just aren't not flourishing

I was using x2 true 180 watt cfl and true 100 watt led but took one cfl out as there too expensive to run .

Will bringing the lights closer improve this ?

I can't say with LED not familiar with them I use 1000w HPS DE and I vent them so with that I am able to get them a little closer than normal with out burning them. But from what I have read LED can bleach the leaves easier so I would say try it and keep an eye on the leaves don't scorch them

That’s 7 weeks of 12/12?

There’s gotta be something else going on, I ran some under a cheap Chinese 110w led and got some pretty decent buds.

For a footprint the size of your plants you should have enough wattage already.

20/4 it's an auto I fimmed and lst'd in week 3.
Defoliated In week 5 and I'd sprayed it with neem oil for potential spider mites a d then there was a heat wave for a weak but managed to keep temps down

Deformed leaves, unless the plant has some pathogen living inside of it, always points to a pH imbalance! When a plant cannot uptake all the nutrients and minerals it needs to build cell walls because of a pH imbalance, deformities will occur!
