Whitefly problem

Well, whitefly has once again descended upon my plants. I have already used the last of my yellow whitefly sticky traps; apparently so has everyone else in town. You'd think that a metroplitan city would have at least one place carrying the damn traps but NOOOOOOOOOO! We can't have that right now. Everybody seems to be out of whitefly traps. Does anybody out there know of a temporary deterrent, or maybe a good alternative to the sticky traps?

Controlling the Whitefly:
Insecticidal soap will take care of an infestation, as will the more toxic Diazanaon. Apply the soap (plus a wetting agent) to all parts on the plants, and both sides of the leaves. This will act to block the breathing pores and suffocate the pests.

Whitefly are definitely attracted to anything yellow, so you can make your own sticky trap with any yellow surface coated with corn syrup.

Marigold plants seem to keep them away.
