White widow taking forever!

Hi everybody!

I have a white widow automatic from zamnesia going and taking forever to finish. There are still a lot of white pistils and it seems like the calyx could still swell a little bit.

It’s my first time growing white widow so just wondering if it gets its name from the constant growth of new pistils.

That said, the plant is now 15 weeks so flowering since 10 weeks…
Do you think I should chop ?

My brother grew this same one.. his was real fluffy and the buds would'nt harden/thicken up.. they stayed fluffly and his took forever to finish as well.. his looked identical to yours.. PM ended up taking it over.. he didnt know anythig about powdery mildew and by the time i came and visited him it was a lost cause..

I have read reviews on the zamnesia website and some ppl were saying it takes way longer than announced. seen autos taking 15-16 weeks but being so far from finished at that age seems crazy to me.

kind of messes up all my plans now ahah

sounds very sad with the PM….
I had a beginning of bud rot last week and I’m so grateful I could cut it off before it spreads to the whole plant

So this auto would have taken 19 weeks ??
I don’t grow autos. But if flowering started on a white widow at 10 weeks— like you said—
Then maybe we can take a look for you at 9 weeks of flower. I know a little about white widow flower time. Might need 10 or 11 weeks from spotting the first cluster.
White widow at 7 weeks—OF FLOWER—Done with new white pistils—let ‘em all die back

I think it would benefit you to do some ‘googling’ on flower times.

I think you just misunderstood what I wrote. It started flowering on week 5..
So 10 weeks of flowering and still not done

I would have written since week 10. Excuse my non native english.
Anyway now I guess the situation is clear no ?
Listen. It's not done and won't be for 3-4 weeks from the pics.

Unfortunately it's also looking pretty rough which is slowing it down.

Thanks I will wait until all pistils get brown and look at trichromes.

The plant suffered from the summer heat + light stress due to being too close to the lamp but no choice I can’t have a bigger tent
