Alright, back again with some white widow. This girl was veg'd for 31 days and has been flowering for 5 days. I shit you not, on day 31 I set the lights to 12/12 from 18/6 and the very next day I saw the first white hairs starting to emerge. Last grow it took about a week to show sex, so I was very suprised. I used miracle grow soil and nutes last year and had decent results. This year I decided to go with an organic mix so I got some "sweet earth" organic soil.
It contains the following:
-worm castings
-chicken manure
-aged bat guano
-alaskan fish bone meal
-seaweed extract
-kelp meal
-alfalfa meal
-colloidal softrock phosphate
-oyster shell
It also contains soil microbes plus mycorrhizae. The mycorrhizae has made a noticible difference in the root growth and nutrient uptake. All of the leaves are a nice deep green. For lights I have one 65watt (300watt equivalent) CFL positioned on it's side. On either side of the plant I have a socket hanging down with a y-adapter to light up the midsection. One side has 42watt & 15watt and the other side two 26watt CFL's for a total of 174 actual watts equivalent to 710 watts.
Below my flowering area I have a cloning system currently at work. There is a 24" floro tube mounted under the flower cabinet along with a hanging socket and y-adapter with two 26watt (6500k) CFL's. Hoping to see some roots soon. This clone will be my mother plant and then I would like to start taking 3 clones at a time and get some consistent bud production.
Temps in flower area: 76 degrees
humidity: 50%
Temps in clone chamber: 84
humidity: 85-90%
