White Widow CFL Grow

Hey Guys, I just wanted to start my journal on here. Let me know if there is anything that you would change! I am planting 10 Fem White Widow. They should be coming in within the next few days from Ministry of Cannabis.

Grow Room Size: 2x3
Water: Ph 6.1
Nutes: SuperTHRIVE
Soil: All Organic, 15% Worm Castings
Lighting: 10, 26 Watt CFLs
Strain: White Widow (Fem)
Ventilation: Good =)

Pics are enclosed! (I will be lowering the lighting but just for the sake of taking pictures for y'all I put them up so you could see a bit better.)

looks good..do you plan on flowering with cfls 2.you can do much better with a small hps in that area..

Well I will most likely get a hps when I start to flower. I will be buying a grow tent to put these in and then the area they are in now I will keep the clones. I will keep the lighting they have now for the future clones.

yeah good idea you can keep mothers in there to.10 23 watt cfls is good to veg 4 plants..you can veg 2-4 mohers and root clones in that space and just use the tent for flowering

Open to any advice!

Yesterday I finally got my seeds!! =) I started them off by soaking them in water for about 24 hours. The water was the same water that I plan on giving my plants... superTHRIVE with a PH of 6.1.

I watered down the soil. I put the holes about 3/16ths of an inch deep. Then I put in my seeds. They all were split open just a bit, so I could tell it was time! I then ziplocked them up to keep the humidity up for the greenhouse effect. I can't wait to see how they look in 24 more hours!! I've already got my timer set for the 18-6 time schedule... will be coming on in about 15 min from now.

sounds good.now just sit back and let the seeds do their job dont worry give them a day or two they will sprout up..

I know, but I just figure to list it under that sort of thing. What fertilizer do you suggest with white widow?

Sooo impatient.... Why won't they grow faster!?!?! Haha... I can't wait to smoke some of this stuff. I've heard White Widow is fantastic. Sells for $70 1/8 in the cali clubs says my friend who live out there.

Well While they are growing does anyone have any suggestions on getting started with the business aspects of being a grower? I plan on only getting more on more plants from here on out!

Any nutrients you can get at the hydro store. I use botanicare pro grow and bloom along with liquid karma and liquid silica.

It has been two days now. I know that they always say not to over water. The thing is, my plants are pretty well watered and very moist do you think I should take the bags off so they can dry up just a bit?

Finally after however long it has been... one seed is coming out of the soil! It seems like it has taken FOREVER!!! I don't know how the other seeds are going to do. Luckily they are all fem so all I need is one and then I can just clone off of that one! Pray with me that it live!! I have tons of light on it and it is well watered.

Any advice is welcomed.

wait, white widow has a very slow rooting in comparison to other strains also takes the longest to clone in comparison, as for nutrient i have use FF for a few white widow cycles and seems to like them just dont over feed then, i water about every 5-6 days depending on the weight of the pot, white widow also yeilds less when topped to much, i only fim once during veg

Fox Farm is the way to go. Ocean Forest soil, and all of their nutes and supplements.
I am also growing White Widow from the Ministry and they are great! My girls are both 3 feet tall and 3 weeks from harvest. Veg them babies for about 6 weeks man, then flower for another 9 weeks. I use a 400 watt MH for veg and a 1000 watt HPS for flowering, CFL's just aint that great bro!
