hey all just wondering if I done the right thing by putting my seeds straight in the soil before germinating them ... I payed 10 dollers each so really hopping they sprout .., put 4 in

Also is the light far enough away its a 600w

Seeds can still sprout in soil, that's what nature designed them to do. Germinating them first is just an extra guarantee to make sure everything goes smooth. Make sure your soil stays moist (not dry but not soaking).

Putting them all in the same pot isnt the greatest idea, since cannabis roots tend to shoot for the bottom then expand outwards.
might be ok if you remove them within a few days of sprouting but just keep it in mind.
What globe are you running? looks like HPS.
For seedlings they dont need to be as close because the light is far too intense, double those heights when working with seedlings.

i can't garentee they will sprout because you didnt germinate them.
Generally you germinate the seed to get a faster progression, however ive had a minor hermie that ive harvested and a seed must have fallen into the pot i was using down the side.
As i harvested i noticed it growing.
The light is fine just make sure it isnt too close check those distances on the charts i just gave you.

I germinated 2 other white widows , I put one i. Soil last night so hopping I see little green leave on Friday and still have this one to plant , have I left the taproot get to long on this one haha ?:/

nah mate thats fine, i usually let them get to that before planting.
just not good for the seed to be left inside water for more than 36 hours, as you risk rotting the seed.
I use paper towel next to either xbox fan or PC fan for 2 days or so and find them that size when i check.

Extra 10 dollers a week so no not all , and that with having a 2 600 watt lights on and fans etc ,

my last grow was a smaller tent with only 4 plants, pulled a bit over a lb.
So if you add that up i profited around...

You don't need light over the seed untill it sprouts unless you wanna keep it warm
