White Stuff or thick foam forming on net pot

Hey guys, I have some sort of thick white foam that has formed on one of my net pots, pic attached. Just curious if this is a problem or if anyone has experienced this and what solution was used if any. Thanks in advance!IMG_1201.jpg
 
lemme guess..your using well water,and/or its been through your water softner?

looks alot like mine used to look before i installed a R/O system.

whats the ppm of your water before you add nutes or anything else?

mine were around 1300 before the R/O.
 
No water softener and Im using straight from the tap, but I know our DWP uses well water. Ill have to ck the ppms before nutes, but it running at 900ppm at the moment w/nutes. Its only happening in one out of 3 buckets total. I washed off the net pot with ph'd water and wiped most of the ring that was in the bucket. Water seems fine, just changed over to Veg formula, was thinking it may have been too much Route66 in previous mixture, idk...
 
Stand alone 5 gal bucket DWC, I have done exactly the same thing on the other buckets and there is no sign of this crud. I changed the water and completely cleaned out the bucket, just checked it a few mins ago and its starting to build up again, and now she is not looking happy. Maybe something in the hydrotron? but I pre soaked the medium for all 3 buckets together. Im probably just gonna yank her, but I really want to know whats going on. Hate it when I dont know! Grr...
