i popped a couple of seeds early spring, and once they were big enough for outside, they were placed among the garlic.

white papaya

sharing with a few insects... i don't spray anything so you get what you get. hoping for vigor and usually that's enough for plants to survive minor munches.

now THESE fuckers are annoying. spotted lanternfly nymphs. i'm dreading the moths that are coming soon and will attempt to put the bed under insect netting.

present day pics of them; first up purple queen

and white papaya. nets are going up next week as they are just about to flower. i will interplant broccoli lettuces in this bed at the end of the month.
