White Leaves?

Ok, I transplanted a "runt" plant outside from in. If it lived I'd know the other plants would be safe for outside. Anyway 1 day later the leaves are kind of white grayish, and shiny. It gets about 7-8 hours light a day, the dirt is kind of muddy. Why are the leaves turning white? Transplant shock? I'll have some pics up and the pH of the dirt tomorrow, don't really want to take another trip out to the spot today, kind of suspicious. Any help appreciated.

If you went straight from indoor to outdoor and into 7-8 hours of sunshine it may be leaf burn/bleaching.

plants usually need a few days acclimating first to make the transition well. (shade trees work well)

good luck

Ahhh dam. I totally forgot about the hardening off part. Maybe thats why, I didn't harden them off. Is there anyway I can save it, or just let it sit and recover?

Alright, heres those pictures, I forgot to pH the soil. Help?

looks like you didn't harden it off too me, did it come right from indoor to outdoor? too much light will bleach leaves much like your pic.

Yeah, I forgot to harden it off. Is it doomed to die, or can I fix it?

If you can keep it shaded for a few days then it just might have a chance. use a lawn chair or something to keep direct sun off of it.
