White House Petition: Legalizing Marijuana

In this government ran website, in which Obama wants to see what issues the american people want to see dealt with; Marijuana Legalization is the one with the most amount of signatures.

Let's pass the bullshit, I am a firm believe of medical marijuana but we need to be true to ourselves as ambassadors to marijuana and get past the stigma of SMOKING RECREATIONALLY.

typical half assed gubment website! you have to sign up at the site and instead of getting an instant email response, like with most places, it's been 10 mins and i still don't have the verify email! gubment can fuck up a wet dream!

My man, it's gotta be regulated for more reason than one. If you could take marijuana legalization would you? If it came with regulations and restrictions like alcohol would you still want it? I sure as hell would. In the 1920's my Micro Brew beer set would be illegal and they would be kicking down my door.

Oh duder dont get me wrong ill take what i can get...but IN MY perfect world it would be like growing tomatoes.....
I gues my libertarian side HATES the word regulation..haha. Also i fear it becoming increasingly more expensive eventually, then they will NOT allow you to grow your own.... then it will REcreate weed criminals.

I dono bro, I really believe that capitalism will thrive in the marijuana industry. With all kinds of different companies / shops being invented. Capitalism at it's finest.

I did happily notice that there were like 5-6 different Marijuana-centric petitions up there....they cant deny us much longer!

I was surprised to see the amount of support for hemp/marijuana in general. They also had, "Change the US motto to E Plurubus Unum from In God We Trust, I signed that one as well as the hemp and a couple others.
