which way to plant a germed seed?

okay, so i forgot. the white worm lookin thing, do i drop the seed in the dirt with that going up or down?

i did it wrong the first time, and fucked up the plants.

anyway, thanks

thats the tap root, you want that pointing down.

that root will grow downward and eventually the sprout will push up and shed the shell
