Which Surge Protector to Buy?

High everyone, I'm thinking about going to Wal Mart and may pick up a surge protector for my 600w HID. Can anyone tell me how much money I need to spend for a good one?

Wow, that is niiiice. But I'm low on funds, so that one may have to be once I get rollin'.

Where I live, power outages are rare, but I am concerned with possible surges as opposed to continuous power.
