Which Soil or Potting Mix is best for a beginner ?

with so many to choose from the question is which is best, from personal experience and opinion. I know many of the vets in here make their own but lets just stick to what a newbie would buy prepackaged...

I know I'm gonna catch some comments for this, but I used MG potting soil for my first grow, since I already had gotten some for some peppers and tomatos, and it is working fine.
It's cheap, easy to find, and simple for a newb.

Wats up guys I have a question that I hope u can answer for me. If i planted my seed on regular soil and it already sprouted can i switch it to some miracle growth potting mix ?? Its because im on my 3rd week since it sprouted and i feel like its not growing right because it's bearly growing the second set of real leafs.

Go with Fox Farm Ocean Forrest. Start your seedlings in some regular soil in a cup like Miracle Grow. Then transplant to 5 Gallon pots of FFOF with 2inches from the bottom in Perlite. So 10% from bottom with perlite and 90% FFOF. If you use this there is no need for nutes until Flowering... Just straight Ph'd Water
