You can, you will just get some stretching with the HPS during veg.

use them all, but make sure your cfls are as close as you can get them and your hps is a safe distance but not to far. use the hand test to see f its comfortable to your hand

Like everyone else says, I would use all of them. I would allow the HPS to be the main source of light above the plants and just use the CFLs for supplemental lighting, especially during flower and later stages of veg when the light penetration of the HPS is not reaching the lower branches and nodes.

I believe you can do pretty good with both all the way. Just make sure that you put the cfl's a lil closet to the plants than the HPS.
This is how I do it and this is what I get:
- I veg only with CFL's 6500k because of the spectrum of course and because I can put them a lot closer to the plants so they develop faster. The CFL's are about 2 inches above the plant. (in the pic are raised)
- When I start flowering I add a 400W HPS between the CFL's, or I flower with 2 400W HPS

this are few pics from the beginning and the end.

and by the way...? why do you ask for rep. when you didn't post any pics, or anything...? you asked a question...right?

no, use them all man.using mixed spectrums like the sun does results in better growth than using just a single spectrum, they get both all the time from the sun in nature, higher blue than red in spring and more red than blue in late summer/fall. and something else ive noticed- during veg using all blue spectrum or all red spectrum makes no difference, but when you mix them right it does make a nice noticable difference. put the 150w kinda far away the first week or 2.
