Which of these seeds would you pop and why?

Quite honestly I have no idea how anyone keeps track of all these varieties anymore, LOL. There are more cultivar names bantered about than I’ve ever seen at the weed stores even. So no help here, haha.

All the same, I vote for Lebanese because it sounds old-timey and there is only one of them. It must be getting lonely!

Actually there are 5 but I was thinking I would go that route as well. Maybe cross it with a landrace Pakistani Chitral Kush Fem I have going ( and is the only one out of 5 to pop)

Lebanese and the ACE mix. Just because I have some Lebanese I haven't popped and I'm a big fan of ACE genetics. Since those are Seedsman seeds I popped some freebies of their Critical Kush and it was fire so that one as well.

What’s the critical Kush like?

A nice mostly indica strain with tasty tight dense buds. Really stoney. Good yields and easy to grow. It was a strain I smoked in the evening because if I smoked it during the day I couldn't get anything done. But it is supposedly a cross of OG Kush + Crtitical Mass so that pretty much sums it up.

I still have some seeds and now I'm thinking of popping one for my next indoor grow I'm starting now that summer is over and I can run my lights indoors after a 2 month hiatus.

BIG fan of skunk. it’s continually been my best producer & least demanding. blueberry has served me well. i also dig the old timey feel that mrs weedstein mentioned, but for me that takes me to the acapulco gold. im a fem-only, then pheno & clone from momma. no room for growing males. so i skip reg.

Using terms like Stoney or couch lock are subjective. The same strain you describe could easily be couch locking or Stoney like you describe depending on when one chooses to harvest.

ya know, i’ve only been growing a few years now. and im still sorting out what percentage of amber im looking for. it seems to vary by strain. do you have a specific “percentage” you go by, regardless as to what strain? or do you find some strains go amber quicker? slower?

I would say it varies by strain, but by also multiple other factors. 10 to 15% amber would be a good rule or thumb in general. But ultimately it comes down to preference. Personally I don’t know how I feel anymore about the whole sativa energetic this or Indica couch locking that. Considering all of the hybrids that have been introduced over the years. It has lead ultimately down to an inevitable loss in time genetics. I’m sure At some point unless somebody takes the time to preserve the purity of Indica or sativa it will be diluted to the point of nobody knowing what’s what. All it takes is for a strain to be bred with shotty bag seed & another ridiculous sounding strain is born.
