which mh conversion bulb to go with

You may wanna look into the 12/12 from seedling method.There is a thread here somewhere on it I was reading.Think I'm gonna try that next.Smaller plants but you get results faster and can fit more plants under the lights.All you need is the HPS.

And you measurements make no sense...1foot by 2foot by 6foot? or was that supposed to be 10x12x6?

i got a 1000 watt conversion bulb HPS ballast -> MH bulb and i works perfect, its a SunMax or something? not sure, but conversion bulb are kinda expensive, i could of bought a mh ballast for the price of my bulb ($100) but then i would need another bulb and reflector and i thought a conversion bulb would be less hassle.
 
yea was really gonna put as much effort as i can this time around but the damn heat is a problem and i know for a fact thats going to be my major concern so........my plans are to just grow 2 nice medium size plants just to get me by for the summer....next time around ill be able to tweak my grow room some more when i get enough cash saved up.......hard times rite now with this fucked up economy,gas prices,rising bills,food ect................:joint:
 
what should i do i just bought a 125w cfl for a 2x3 room do i need to add a mh or more flor tubes? i dont want a bunch of little cfl lights all over ethier? help?
 
nope.....as much as you dont want all sorts of little cfl's everywhere .....it will help u out alot.......when i was growin my hindu kush i had 2-23watt 6500k per plant plus some more in between......that 125 u got there will strech em ............:joint:

no experience personally on t-5's but have seen grows with this lighting system....as for cfl's ur local wal-mart carrys them in stock .....you want :

23w 2700k cfl------best for flowering with---1600lumens
23w 6500k cfl------best for veg------ not sure if 1600lumens also
