Which is worse when leaving plants for a few days: CFL burns or stretching?

So I'm going to be leaving my lady unattended for 4 days soon, which will be the longest period I've gone without checking on her. I've been keeping the lights very close, so I tend to raise them every day or two to prevent the leaves from coming in direct contact with the CFLs. My plan is to raise it about as much as I'd expect I'd need to while I'm gone, but I was wondering whether I should err on the side of too far or too close. I don't want to cause anymore stretching than I have to at this point, but obviously I don't want to burn the plant either. This is a picture I took a couple nights ago right after raising the light, just to give you an idea of my setup:

My instinct is to put it high enough that the plant almost certainly won't reach it, but I've also found that even my 42w bulbs don't cause too much damage when the plant grows into them (just a little browning, nothing horrid).

Thoughts?

EDIT: I thought I'd add that this is Dinafem's Super Silver, on Day 34 of 12/12, which means it's about 1/3 done flowering. Most of the super-stretching is done, but she's still putting on an inch a week or more.

when i have to leave my girls alone for an extend time. i give them a good water and raise the lights about 2 inches higher. during veg.
but during flowering about 3 inches higher works.
when i get back,,,i just put them back to where they were before.

Even if she goes on a growth spurt, shes not gonna grow more than an inch or so in 4 days, so if you raise your lights a couple inches, you (and her) will be fine

Ourkansaw: how long is a few days? At a growth rate of an inch a day a weekend shouldn't be a problem if you raised them to say 6" just to be safe. I've done it many times without a problem. I hope that helps. HSA

It'll be 4 days this time, then I'll be leaving them for 6 days in a couple weeks. I was just worried that if i raise it 6" I'll just be encouraging more stretch, which I'm trying to minimize since this is a CFL grow. But I guess that's better than burning a major cola in the middle of flowering.
