your doing fine. good temps, square pot, fan, no nutes yet, looks good. it looks normal. my advise is.. stop looking at it so often haha (really)

I could tell that was a hps light

I would leave them under the HPS. Keep itabout 20-24 inches above the tops and they willl be fine. Looking good so far...

I'm not familiar with your dirt~It all depends on what nutrients are in and how much~When you use hps lights I can't see if the discoloration on the leaves is brown it looks like there something on the leavesIf that dirt is like say miracle gro it will grow for while then you have trouble
The plants will grow with hps lights but in veg they like the cfl's flo's or mh use cfl or flo's the first week or so then the MH for 3 or 4 weeks then the hps'es are for flowering is the way I do it~
