which fan speed controller do i need to avoid vibration?

thanks mate fukin brilliant !! will the fan mentioned in the post above have variac or would it have to be a high spec expensive controller and im geussing it would specify "this fan uses variac technology" thanks again jondomon top stuff plus rep

A useful bit of kit. Often growers buy a large fan to cope with the summer heat and then come winter it proves too powerful, bringing in too much cold air. Not suitable for use with Acoustic Fans.

Not exactly true. A variac controls voltage, which is what you need.
