2 of these, with 2 tubes to each 5gal bucket will be more than enough along with at least 4" air stone pillars.
I use 1 air pump per 12gal cooler that contains 10gal of soultion.
My yields say enough.

u can grab the 2 like flo said, or they make 1 unit thats an 8 port....i bought one a year ago and it took a shit last week, so i got another...i think the first one i had shorted out when i had a bad thunderstorm, i dont think it was the pumps fault...cause my buddy has had his(same one) for 4 years, same pump....my local hydrostore sells them for $45, but if u shop online,(i try not to that much) im sure they are cheaper online somewhere

thanks for the rep flo....yeah bro it def moves some air....i have 3-27gallon rezzys and it has no prob pumpin them....i run 3 lines to 2 of the rezzs' and 2 lines to the other...and believe me the one with only the two lines runnin in it is plenty enoughj...i run 2 -4" cylinder airstones and 1 -5" disk in each of the rezzys....hopefully this pump will last me for a while....hope this helps ya out doherty
and flo, so ur def gonna be running those new pumps u and the big bro have been checkin on????

Once big bro gets the 460gph model and test it out, it'll be an all go.
The 1100gph model he has is a bit too much.
And at a price approx equal to 2 of those above 8", we have to find out.
Let's face it, we all have to replace our stones at some point and the Oxygen Infusor looks to be a better investment in the long run.

I used to use the 4 outlet pumps. 3 or 4 per cooler, 12 to 16, 6 inch air stones per cooler.
Now I'm on a new kick. 110L per minute.
One hose into the cooler and a Rube Goldberg bubble system on the bottom.
Needed more of the right sized bubbles and couldn't find it in the stores so I made it.

nice pumps bb...i know ur happy, just to cut down on the amount of plugs and wires you had to habe to run all those pumps....whats the rube goldberg???

I use the Hailea 6 way pump and when the diaprams go its easy as shit to replace them plus the pump strength adjusters handy and its not to loud when running up full power, and its cheap!
I also got
Hap Hi Blo 120 Ltr Air Pump
A great value air pump for medium to large Koi ponds.
Special artificial rubber to keep a steady air output and pressure.
