I'm at 4 weeks of flowering (12/12), of which 1.5 weeks have been with HPS. I'm still not seeing any dense build up of fruit, only lots of hairs. My nutes are in proper proportions. Any insight from the experts?
im no expert in the matter, but i have a few words
did you veg till preflowers ?? if not how long after you flipped into 12/12 did the first hairs start popping out, some take longer than others mine took 14 days so by 4weeks had come for me it was only really like 2 weeks of flower.
like i said no expert but hopes this helps
peace
Wow crazy that fuzzybuds called that just on account of the looks and then you say you used cross seeds that weren't stable. That probably has something to do with it.
That combined with flowering them early, and also there's other factors that go into how fast a plant enters full flower like nitrogen levels during the first week of flowering (you want them low or none at all to jumpstart things) and also if your strain is sativa it's going to take longer. But for 4 weeks they should be bigger either way.
I would say there's nothing you can do now, just wait and hopefully it turns out good!![]()
most your bulk comes in the last couple wks also try using mollasses 2 teaspoons per gallon of water and you can use it every watering since it is not a nute
FYI, u NEED nitrogen in flowering, its wat keeps ur leafes green and healthy and wen ur leafes r healthy SO IS UR GROWING BUDS. i use 3 ML of grow big from FF, in with my 7 ML of tiger bloom in flowering.
FYI if you read my post you'd notice I said to cut nitrogen levels in the 1st week not throughout all of flowering. I use FF nutes as well and I don't give them any grow big during flowering, just big bloom, tiger bloom, solubles, and molasses (4th week and onwards). Tiger bloom and your solubles will provide all the nitrogen you need. Mine are dark green and they are in the 6th week of flowering. Same with every crop I've had.
i'm not going to lie that is one weird looking plant but in the end what really matters is you tried and extremely successful or slightly successful it all help with your learning curve to better your quality of growing, u should and probably will have appreciation for what happens no matter how it turns out, you'll see. Thanks for the advice, all. So as long as there are no strain issues, I guess only time will tell. So some flower for as long as 8 weeks? If so, perhaps I jumped the gun. I was just expecting more sooner.
