Where's the cheapest/best place to buy Red Wiggler Worms?

I'm sure some of you are into Vermicomposting with Red Wiggler Worms, I just got into it and I'd like to know where I can buy Red Wigglers at the cheapest price per pound with quality shipping.

There are a lot of worm sellers out there and some worm sellers weigh the worms with the bedding then ship to the customer shorting them on worm weight, while other worm sellers do it honorably by weighing JUST the worms...THEN...add the bedding that all worms get shipped in.

Some companies say 1 pound of worms is between 600-800 worms and some say 1 pound is 1000 worms, this is like what I typed previously where they add bedding weight as part of the worm weight which is short-changing the customer.

This is important to me because I'm about to start building a lot of worm bins, but I want to start up a good breeding stock of worms with the 5 tower worm bin I just bought.

Dude if you have time on your hands just go get a single red wiggler put him in a small tuperware with breathing holes with a snap on lid. Put down some peat and shredded news paper, or sterile soil and make damp, then add your worm, then make a couple cups of scraps and dump it on top, then put the whole deal in the dark. Within a few weeks you'll have twenty worms. Then just move up in size to a larger bin and within no time you've grown your own worms. It's fun and it will save you 20 bucks.
