Where to put drippers on root ball?

Each plant has four emitters.
Should I put them around the small root mass area in the center and hope it leaches out to the outside of the pots?

I use 360 degree fan emitters but removed the fans so its like a bubbler x4.

I don't want dry spots so I water by hand once or twice a week.

yeah you should put them in the center...what is your soil mix like? i use a lot of coco in mine so i get good leaching/wicking

Im also using coco (Empire builder from sanctuary) http://sanctuarysoil.com/2011/empire-builder/

My guy said put at the middle area more outside to encourage the roots to stretch for the water.

I have tiny root balls!
