Where to place thermometers

just wondering if i shoud be placing my therms directly under the light or just anywhere in the room...soil level...what height should i put them according to the plants? ty

having it around your plants will give you a better idea how hot it is for them

Thermometer & hygromemeters are cheap,put one at the canopy level,one at stalk level & one on the wall in the middle of the room,if you have good circulation the temp & humidity levels should be very close in all 3 places.

I usually let the censor for my thermometer hang off the hood of my 400w and have it so it is at the same height as the canopy.

i always wondered this. I keep mine a little below canopy level
