In my opinion, if your plants just started to bud you need to wait at least 7 to 8 wks, depending on the strain, until they are worth smoking. Probably longer if you want them to fully mature. Some plants can take 10 to 12 wks. Growing good cannabis takes patience.

Mate what they are saying is if you want a great result wait, generally 8-12 weeks, get a magnifying glass or pocket microsope and look at the crystals (trichomes) when they all go milky yer pretty good to go.
try not to get impatient and you will be very happy with the result. in the meantime do some reading on drying and curing, thats as important as anything else in the process.

I know the feeling. But at the end of the day, it's a waiting mans game. My ladies went through about 12 weeks of veg. And the wait for flowering is killing me too. Mine are 2 weeks in. Just gotta find a hobby that takes your mind off it. I decided to start going to the gym again.
