I get it at safeway. SE Aurora. Sometimes you have to ask at the pharmacy for it. Some places might keep it behind the counter.

Would be awesome for cleaning the glass though. But i agree, not a iso fan, but i prefer it to most BHO. Personally all my extractions are done with either ice water or dry ice. Dry ice is way faster, but bubble is typically better (although i am getting better at this dry ice stuff).

And potentially cheaper too.. 16oz of 99% iso around here sits close to 40 dollars USD.
...ours around here is $1.79 per 16 oz. I noticed the Meijer chain stores have removed this and now only have 91%, maybe other stores have also.

You can get 16oz of 99% Iso for 1.79? I'll take 1500 gallons. The OTC lower % for our Meijer is about 2 bucks per, but 99% isn't found in our Meijer whatsoever that I know of.

As for cleaning the glass, 91% is all you need. Just put small pieces (bowls, downstems, etc) in a ziploc bag mixed with rock salt and your alcohol. Shake it around real good..you'll figure it out.

I bought a nice 5150 bong about 6 months ago and she went through some heavy usage but not much cleaning. Cleaned her up yesterday using 91% and within 5 minutes she was as shiny as she's ever been, the percs were cleaned to perfection as well. Very simple and cheap:mrgreen:

the science supply stores also have it. a bit pricey. they have all kinds of solvents for different extractions. they also have buchner funnel which is like a fancy funnel you can put a filter in.

i run bho, bubble, iso....all of it. Iso is cheaper than bho for sure. Not overly thrilled with 91 iso, hence the post. Just wanted to try it and see how much better than 91.

You will see an improvement in it, all other variables the same from 91%->99%, rest assured. :)
