Where do (medical) Marijuana facilities receive there product?

I understand that this is a rather vague but obvious question, but how exactly do medical marijuana facilities say in California, receive their Marijuana products? Is product grown locally? Does it matter?

And how do you grow to become one of those people that sell their Marijuana to facilities completely and 100% legally?

Any factual knowledge, personal experience/history with this subject would be great. Sources would be great too if possible.

I'll bet you could walk right into a CA dispensary and do business, all they're picky about is the price, not where it came from. This does NOT come from personal experience.

you could talk to fdd2black.. i am pretty sure that he has dealt with dispensaries in the past. not sure how much or what he would be willing to devulge to you, but i am almost certain that he has sold to them in the past..

its simple grow what your allowed to grow and sell it to them. you can grow for other people and sell it all to a dispensary. its easy you walk in ask if they are interested in buying some they say yes or no and thats that.

Dispensaries are supposed to be buying from "patient vendors" that means the people they buy from are patients, IE, prop 215 medical patients, members of the collective.

Not all dispensaries follow this and buy from any one who walks through the door, whether the gear was grown in an HA commercial op or from a collective member with a little extra to sell.
