where did i go wrong =(

So my minions turned out to be shitty. I had to leave a friend with it for a week. When I came back the leaves were browning pretty rapidly. So, I flushed for a week, and then harvested.

Since they were already pretty deathly looking(I didnt think they would survive a second week), I went ahead and harvested. I let them stay out for 24 hrs, and then put them in the jars.I left the jars open for about 4(sometimes 6 if i lost track of time) hrs a day.

Now when I smell them, they smell like schwag. But after you grind it up, it smells awesome. What gives? Is there any way to fix it?

Was it cut early? And it takes a lil bit for it to smell again strong.

Yes, they were browning. I didnt want to end up with a bunch of dead buds. Is that not what I should have done?

my guess would by the terpens (the hormones and oils that makes it smell) probly dried out of the plant when it started browning and as long as it still smells good when u grind it uop its all good
