I just want to have a better understanding of what kind of plants there are (strains) and also what to look for and what to avoid (like paying way too much). General info like that would be helpful.

becuase i got for $10 what appeared to be about 1/16th to 1/8th of an ounce. and It was skunky i know that.

Is this a good deal then?
 
For 10 bucks if you get a good buzz in that amount you did okay... A friend would have given more if you got a friend who grows....

ahh okies, well eventually i could legally have 6 plants, but i understand some give them to growers with equipment, but at this moment in time edibles are in my favor as i like to keep my lung capacity up. However I have yet to encounter an edible that has helped me so far (pain and just being really thc high)
