a Y socket online for 2 42 watt CFL's? I have tried my local Lowes and Wal Mart and both seem to be out.

I am talking about Just a simple Y socket that you screw the bulbs into and then hang it by the cord.

Lowe's or Home Depot. they're about $2. I got one at Lowe's in the lamp parts section.

he just said that both of them are out. go to Ace hardware or some other hardware store, and look in the "Lamp Parts" or the "Lamp Replacement Parts" section or it'll be something along those lines...

hah thanks everyone for the help, i was looking online and was wondering if a 120 volt vertical hanging cord set could hold 2 42 watts if i get a Y adapter?
