Where can i get cheap lighting fixtures???

At that price point, you are reduced to cfl's, however, again, if you decide to spend more (I highly recommend it) at $119.00 you can get an hps 400 watter. or you could try ebay, for a used one, but I'd go new.

i posted in the newbie section but can u just tell me when soemthing says 100w equivalent does that mean it is actually 100w or is it only 25w???

I bought a 100 watt grow lamp and wired it about 6 8" inch plants and boom.... they are growing like a m...f...er

It means its the equivalent of 100 watt incandescent light bulb.

You get what you pay for. If you wanna be cheap on the most important thing(light). You will regret it when you are harvesting...
