Whens the best time to water?

not to jack ur thread or nothing, but what about an indoor grow w/ soil?ive been wondering an experimenting.for me its seems when they need it regardless of time of day.two things i picked up on are, weight of pot, most importently fill top quickly so entire top creates a vacuam and water penatrates evenly.PEACE

Never send your girls to bed wet.......especially if there is cloud coverage and its late fall. I water in the morning prior to full sunrise.
thanks for the advice...my plants like it though, it must be the climate im in, root rot doesnt exist where im at. but ya in late fall i move to mornings, always

Plants need moisture the most during the hottest parts of the day and even more moisture if they are in dry windy conditions. You want to avoid watering later in the day if the plants will not fully dry off, as in any water that may end up on the leaves, before darkness because that is a recipe for various molds and diseases. You do not want wet leaves at night if you can avoid it.

and something else, i put wood shaving on top of my soil, so i dont have to water as much....this brings roots close to the surface...thus reducing mold and disease
