When will they stink?

What's up y'all? So my girls are in their second week of flower and I was wondering when they will start to smell. I'm growing big bud and hash spice under a 400 watt hps. There in a ffof medium and are about 2 feet tall. Let me know what y'all think, sorry no pics. Thanks:weed:
 
Depends on the pheno really...i've grown the same strain and had one stink like hell and the some that didn't really have much of a smell.
 
i will agree with homegrownboy, i have had the same strain in the same garden and 1 smelled the other did not
 
The hash spice is looking really good actually, have y'all tried it? So if they don't stink that doesn't mean the potency won't be affected right?
 
Smell relates to flavor, not potency. My Hash Spice are still in veg, but not doing nearly as well as my other plants.

The potency again depends on the pheno...just cause she stinks doesn't mean she'll be good...i'm smoking some tangerine kush that i harvested last month, and she didn't smell at all...even after curing, she has a mild orange smell, but she's as potent as fuck.
 
Yeah they seem to be a bit different, the hash spice that is. It's doing well but it's just a thinner plant. Hey I got three plants goin now, how much can I realistically yield? 3 gallon buckets, 400 hps system, 2 feet to 3 feet in height. I mean can I get a qp?
 
It all depends
1) on grower
2) enviroment
3) food

Those are the 3 main things to growing big lucious buds. Realisticly...you should get about 1-2oz's/ plant under a 400W, don't forget to load up on carbs...molasses is great...i use it througout my grow...but i use less in veg, and more at the beginning of the flowering cycle. Co2 is important as well...there are a few topics here that show you how to build a ghetto co2 system and how to use it.
 
Here's a real answer: Anywhere in between 2 months and 3 months, once the hairs start changing color and the tricolms start to form up nicely it will start to stink. The more ventelation dosn't reduce the stink, rather spreads it around the room to make it seem like there's only "a hint of weed smell". Carbon filters work and are cheap to make (do a search, its on here somewhere)

Not true. Like i said, i've had plants not smell and some that did...all the same strain. Even at harvest they don't smell hardley at all.
 
Good weed doesn't always stink...i should know. I grew the REAL WW back in '93 and had several phenos with little to no smell at all...and they proved to be the better pheno's. I had F.I and Tangering kush this last grow...my FI stunk bad...and didn't turn out nearly as good as the kush did, which has very little smell.
 
Ok so walmart or some place like that will have molasses? Hey y'all thanks a fuckin lot, how do u plus rep cuz y'all are the shit!
