When to Transplant from Aerocloner to Hydroton? Pic

How large should the roots be to transplant to Hydroton pellets? I'm not using any Rockwool. Straight Hydroton.

Was also wondering when I could go to 12/12 after transplanting. And would it be worth it to try and train them to SCROG without vegging? I have read many people veg for a few weeks before going 12/12 in a SCROG.

Is this enough root?

I do what you are doing. Have a daisy cloner and transfer directly into hydrotron. Couple more days should do it. they are still a little delicate. Be careful of the roots when you transfer. A little hydrotron (1/3 net pot fill), Hold the plant upright and gently add pebbles to solidify it's position. Are you using Bubbleponics, ebb and flow, or DWC? You grow in veg to develop size and bud sites. If you flower when small you get budsicles (one cola). It makes sense it you are going to flower 20-30 plants and get 20-30 colas otherwise the investment of about 4 weeks in vegs gets you much more production for the time spent.
