When to throw my girls into flower

I’m growing 2 white widows and a Durban poison in a 2x2.5x5 gorilla tent. And I just need some advice as to when I should change to 12/12

Big brenches can hold big buds ... its all up to you ... More veg , more yield.

Than let me ask you this. My biggest is the widow it’s about 6 inches tall. Hypothetically speaking if I veg it to say 16 inches than put into flower is there a rough estimate on yield?. I’m trying to make it so I don’t have to buy anymore. This is my first grow and I’m loving every step of the process.

I’m still trying to figure out how this god given plant grows and how it branches off. How vigorous it is. Ect ect

Every grow space is different. Dialing your space into a perfect environment, depends on you, which effects the yield more than veg time.

Here's a link to my first grow. I did 3 bag seed in a 3x3 tent and flipped at 6 weeks veg. They filled my space no problem. For you in your space, I would suggest 3-4 weeks after the first true leaves. Obvs I'm a rank newbie too, but hopefully it gives you an idea.

I got 125g dry and a fuck-ton of seeds. Roughly 0.4g/watt.

So I looked through and they looked pretty small before you put them into flower and than they took off right??

What kind of light are you using?

Yup. I didn't measure exactly but I recall them being maybe 14-18 inches tall.

I’ve got a 1200 watt full spectrum led. And two other smaller wattage leds

Your plants will stretch when you flip to flower. Upto twice its size. Take that into consideration. If you flip too late, you risk your plants reaching/touching your lights, or light bleaching, etc.
As far as yield... many variables to say what you will get. Could be a few grams, oz, maybe even a pound...

Thanks man. That was very useful. I’m gonna see what they look like in a week or two. Right now the biggest is like 7 inches

That's what she said!

Tent size should determine when to flower. Most plants will just about double in height after you switch to 12/12. So, spread your ladies out inside the tent and when they are half the harvest height you want switch to 12/12. Remember to leave some room between the bulb and your tallest plant so you won't burn them.
