When to switch to 12/12, how much more growth?

So if I veg the plant until it takes up 50% of the available space in my grow area, will I be OK switching to 12/12 and it fit? I mean how much more height do you get after you switch? I did a search and didn't find the answer.

40% veg / 60% flower?

I am just afraid that I'll go too big for the grow area.

Your plant could double or even triple in height during flowering.

The general rule of thumb is to plan on your final harvesting size being anywhere from 2 to 3 times the size of your plants when you begin flowering. (In other words, depending on your strain, growth can double or even triple during the flowering process)

u can use low stress training if space is a problem
