If you want monsters start as soon as you can. Usually I pop my beans in feb.

Thanks all. I was gonna use peat pellets to start in the into red cups. Then later on into big pots.

Hard to find info on how to train this strain....I would prefer to keep it low...under 4’.

I popped in late Feb once. Monsters is an understatement, I grew skyscrapers!. Now i stick to mid/late march, I can't care for plants that get to big.

Yeah they can get massive. I wouldnt even want to see what would happen if I didnt top and fim the junk out of them ...along with scrogging them when I first put them out.
I mostly like to start them early due to the harsh environment we have here outdoors tho. We can get really hard late frosts here out of the blue and I've almost lost plants because they were too young when I first started growing. More established plants are more forgiving because you can cut alot back if things go wrong.

I just let the grow that year, very little shaping at all. They loved it. No late frosts here usually, but Autumn closes in quick.

I got about 75% of the seeds to pop. They are up about 1.5”. Looking good so far. They spend the day outside in the sun if it’s warm enough. I should mention that I don’t have a light setup inside ....window light only. Is this ok until I repot them into larger containers outdoors? Last year I grew out a couple of clones I was given. Seeds only this year. I have about 8 Sebrings Revenge and 2 Zkittlez.

They wont hit sexual maturity until the days are long enough now so they should be fine.
