When to start LST'ing?

How many leaf sets should my plant have before I start LSTing?
Because my plant is has 6 leaves (including cotyledons) and is about 3 inches tall, when should I start LST?

I wait til mine are about 8 inches tall, 6 to 8 SETS of leaves, top or FIM it, either is good, then wait for the new branches to grow long enough to reach the side of the container, pull them out and tie them down.

I'm an LSTing beast and they all get hooked as soon as there is enough plant to hook. (I use hangers cut down and turn them into "J" hooks)
String comes in after they have gotten long enough to reach the pots edges..

I start LST'ing at 4 weeks. Anywhere from 4-8 nodes...

Here's some of my current plants that I LST'd...

I also start real early to get all the branches even

U can pretty much lst whenever u want. Id def wait till its got some roots. I did mine at 6 in but u can do it even smaller just becareful to not rip out the roots. Tie the bottom inch of the plant with a separate tie to keep it straight and keep the roots in place. Also don't use anything hard or sharp to tie around stems cuz it will dig into stem and u don't want that. I learned the hard way. Check out my grow. I got experimental lst goin on in there, seeing what works best

As long as the main stem is still flexible, you can start bending the top over. Tie one string to the bottom to keep straiight and tie the other string closer to top and slowly start tightening it day by day.

Kmk: nice plants. Look almost identical to mine

I just did mine at 16 days veg. I use coat hangers too :)
