When to start flushing?? (first harvest, bagseed, 5 weeks flower)

I have a yummy bagseed girl here who is roughly 5 weeks into flower.. this is my first time making it this far

A little history.. 150w hps ghetto cool tube system, 37x18x13 box, 1 gallon pot, organic soil, fox farm tiger bloom at 1/3rd strength every 4 days, mixed with 1/3rd cal-mag as well (distilled water in between). Max temp is 78F at 1 inch from the glass (serious, 7 fans), minimum is 69F at night.

The plant was about 2 inches from the glass before i started flowering because i had seedlings in the bottom and no veg chamber.. so it got chopped in half and then flowered (best i could do..)

Roughly 5 weeks in now (not exactly sure, been stoned the whole time..) about 15% of the trichomes are red, 30% of my main fan leaves have gone yellow.. (2 starting to yellow, 1 completely yellow, 4 still looking flawless)

A couple bottom leaves have what i think is slight nute burn, thats why ive just stuck to 1/3rd strength. Just gave it a feeding, when do i start going distilled water only??

I have no idea how much longer this plant might have.. i can take pictures tonight if needed, just have to bring a fluro in as the hps makes awful pics~

Alrighty, took some pictures with the hps off.. should i start flushing now or keep feeding??

theres like 5 main cola's and about 10 or so popcorn nugs all over

The one yellow fan leaf is just completely yellow, no splotching or burning.. just yellow.. also took a picture of one of the leaves that is *starting* to turn yellow.. you can see the hint of yellow.. thats how the other started.. i cant get a picture of it because of where it is

This is NOT a scrog, i had the screen for my next grow which will be a scrog (aurora indica..mmm).. and it was my emergency solution to keep from touching the glass.

Any guess to what this strain might be? smells kind of citrus like.. very tasty aroma hits you when you open the box

Man, these do not resemble 5 week old Buds, but maybe it is bcos of the 150W. Nice plants tho, very well looked after.
The word on the street is no chem for last 3 weeks, but since u have only been giving 1/3 strength rarely, i would say last 1-1/2 to 2 weeks and you should b ok.. This should get the taste of Chem out of ur bud.

Somewhere in there.. 4-6 weeks old, im such a shitty judge of time..

Gotta remember they are all mini cola's because i had to chop the plant in half (touching the glass)..

How long does it take for the rest of the trichomes to turn red is what im asking i guess.. does this plant only half 1.5 weeks left and i should start flushing now?

This is my first time this far, trying to tell how much longer this plant has to go..

Time left depends on strain. Most take around 8 weeks. Bcos u cut ur plants , the smaller buds should get more juice and become the main Buds. Most ppl harvest when the Trichs r 50/50 of clear and amber.
The reason I say the smaller buds will pick up is the method on Greenmans page. Where some ppl harvest a whole plant others only cut the top 2/3 and put the rest back in2 veg so they can grow as the main ones. U hav done a similiar thing, just minus the reveg. Overall I'd say u hav at least 1 & 1/2 weeks left, so start flushing and post more pics then for further advice.

Dont have to flush for at least another 2 weeks.. They not close to being done quit yet.. Alittle more time yet mine are 6week in flower n they are turning brown orange now some of them..gl

Flush the plants a week before they are ready to come down.But i have been doing the greenhouse grow flushing every week letting the plants sit for about 3/4 hours to let the flushed water run off then add new made nutreints let this run off then back in the grow room.Growing this way my yeilds and plants have been produceing alot more and look the buissness.And no this ammount of water does not harm the plants has long has you let them dry out.I even flush during veg just a couple of times but the plants look alot better for it.

CRAP~! its yellowing at high speed now!!

Took new pictures.. all of the medium and bigger leaves are starting to turn yellow now.. i just gave it water yesterday, was going to start to flush..

It going to make it long enough to finish? man id be crazy bummed if i don't make it after all this.. been trying since january to get something smoke-able lol..

PLZ NOTE~ in the pictures any of the tips of the fan leaves that are turned downward, thats because of lack of space, they hit the wall.. not from a problem

Alright, minus any confirmation im just gonna keep flushing..

I'm hopeful the leaves will hold out long enough to finish.. maybe another week i think?

And on a hell yeah note: since this has gone so well so far, and the fact that ive spent about 500 dollars on my flower box and also my veg box (cpu case).. i went ahead and ordered a bunch of seeds now rather than just my 10 aurora indica.

Went with nirvana's blackjack, master kush, white rhino, and PPP.

Also from attitude i got diesel ryder, and lowryder 2.

And 6 free seeds (two white widow) yum.

So i have over 70 seeds now, think im set for a while with my 5 square feet of grow space 0.o

D reason we flush is 2 remove built-up salts, or else these sorround ur roots and they can't take up ne more Nutes.
Do u know the PH of ur food & soil? If u hav been feeding for a long time @ incorrect PH u will eventually change the PH of ur soil.
If the problem persists after flushing, then often ur PH is so low u lock-out all N,P & K.

You're plants don't look done enough to b sucking the goodness from the leaf 2d Buds.. So I'd rule that out 4 now.

your leaves are suppoesed to turn yellow when you flush. that is the sign that you are flushing away the nutrients. if you need a little burst of food for the last weel or so put sugar in your water... look up some articles about it. ive heard good things

i would use a digestive nute like (multi zen house and garden or Sensi Zym advance Nutrients) and it will make your dieing off roots because she is at the end of her life and turn them into natural feed for your plant at the end
