No you don't need nutes to grow weed as it's weed and it'll usually grow without it. They add nutes to maximize yield which is where the problems start specially when you're a new grower. you add too much of something, not enought of something else, amounts may be off and .... . So you come back to site and ask about problems your plants will have. That being said for first grow, I'd stick with a simple feeding schedule and brand like FoxFarm, its expensive(relatively) but much simpler than some others. look up foxfarm, grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom to start with and when about to flower the sesame, chaching and beastie blooms. These do drop you water PH so be sure to have a PH meter on hand, try to use RO water or distilled water to avoid excessive salt/mineral build up in your soil, avoid crappy high added nutrition soil and be sure to have most necessary equiptments on hand before you start ur grow.

I like dyna-gro. You need to know what is in your soil mix already, assuming is a soil grow.

Whichever brands you use, start adding them later than your gut tells you. Begin with about 1/4 the recommended dose and work your way up.

I use canna, if you are in the UK i would advise not to use bio-biz. It doesn't go well in our water.

If you use RO water supplement it with calmag you need to replace what you lose from regular water.

If you are in soil, I would feed lightly at 3 weeks. If you are in anything else, such as coco, Rockwool, perlite you will need to start a mild nute program right away. As far as nutes are concerned, I use Tecnaflora BC Grow, Boost, Bloom and Awesome Blossoms. It's a simple program that produces excellent results. Good luck

...if you want to grow weed successfully then you need to do some research, there is a vast amount of information on this topic here at this site alone and there are hundreds of other sites as well, not to mention libraries and book stores, ...i mean come on man, is it really that hard to find?

...nobody but you really gives a good crap if you succeed or not so it would seem to me that it would be in your best interest to be proactive and actually go hunting for answers to questions that any thinking person would know have already been asked THOUSANDS of times before you asked them, ...this may be new to you bro but it ain't new.

...you're certainly welcome to ask any question you like and you will almost certainly get answers, but how will you know which answers to trust? ...on the other hand, any information you can find that was posted before your arrival will have the benefit of having to stand the test of time, in other words it will have had time to prove itself right or total bullshit.

...also, experienced growers mostly ignore questions of this sort, they figure it's kind of a waste of time to hold someones hand and answer questions like 'is water wet?'.

...you have to care enough to learn something this basic on your own, ...ask me something hard.

...and you should very definitely NOT be giving advice, you should be seeking advice.

...you ever heard the expression 'the blind leading the blind'?

peace, bozo
